Natural Fragrances
Fragrance is vital to all living beings and is the one product which has the unique ability to evoke a pleasurable experience or time. It is also the product which commercially has the highest concentration of chemical ingredients and has the closest links with the abuse of our animal and natural world. Even some Essential oils which have been traditionally used for their therapeutic benefits are harvested from unsustainable sources (for instance Indian Sandalwood) and we avoid these. Commercially produced fragrances have a petro-chemical base which is usually cut with denaturants which are toxic and a potential source of allergens to the discomfort of asthmatic sufferers and those with allergies. Naturally produced fragrances are a completely different experience to the synthetically produced commercial fragrances we are more familiar with. They are more subtle for a start and dont last as long because of the volatile nature of the Essential oils and botanicals we use. They will need more frequent application (they evaporate more quickly) but we feel that this is an essential part of their charm and the intrinsic factor of using and enjoying a natural product.
Our range of natural fragrance uses a base of grain alcohol, various plant based oils, amber resins and Essential oil blends - just as nature intended.
