We take our inspiration from the wild and beautiful scenery right outside our door and combine that with our enthusiasm for using traditional methods of blending oils, wildcrafted herbal infusions and waxes to produce a growing range of artisan skin products influenced by you - our loyal customers.
Soap
Aromatherapy, cold processed and goats milk soaps handmade without using chemicals, SLS or parabens, our soaps are handmade in small batches using Essential oils, herbs and botanicals for a natural, ethical and wholesome way to care for your skin.
Haircare
Luxury, organic, chemical - free Hair Baths and natural hair products to suit all hair types including irritated scalp and problem hair. We use infusions of herbs and botanicals blended with plant based soft soap and fragranced with Essential oils.
Mother & Baby
The gentlest, purest, natural Organic ingredients go into this speciality range, and we have a small range of products here for baby excema and ultra sensitive fragile skins. You can be assured that these handmade products are freshly made with care just for you and your precious baby.
Petcare
Pets need natural products too - many commercially manufactured goods are packed full of harsh chemicals which dry out the skin, robbing your pets coat of its natural secretions and causing distressing itching and hair loss.

When we first thought of our company name we wanted to emphasis our affinity with the traditional ‘hedgewitch’ culture deeply rooted in nature, of gathering herbs and botanicals from the countryside and combining them with infusions of oils, distillations of water and other natural ingredients to produce balms and ointments for the benefit of the community.
It is widely believed that Boudicca’s people, the Iceni tribe used Woad to paint their bodies before battle and for religious ceremonies. Woad is also a natural source of the blue dye chemical Indigotin. Modern scientists have found that this innocuous little plant is a primary source of the compound glucobrassin, which is considered to have anti-tumour properties particularly effective against breast cancer.
I’ll bet almost all of you reading this missive can remember an ‘old wives tale’ about a specific plant being effective in the cure of an ailment – rubbing a dock leaf against a nettle sting for instance. Let us know of your favourites on our contacts page and we’ll feature them in our blog where you will be able to see what we are up to and to suggest products or essential oil blends you would like to see us make up – we’re always open to suggestions.
We are also constantly seeking out new products, increasingly using exotic butters, waxes and oils from tropical suppliers who adhere to our company policies of sustainable land management and of using only certified Fair Trade producers. Our current project is to reduce our already small carbon footprint and make all our packaging 100% recyclable by the year 2010 – watch this space!!!
Deliberately, we do not carry large quantities of stock as we prefer to use essential oils for both fragrance and their therapeutic benefits. These oils degrade with storage and exposure to the light – the fresher the product the better so that none of the goodness is lost.
Definitely customer led, we offer the nearest thing to ‘bespoke’ skin-care that it is possible to find and if you like our Really Rich Moisture Cream but prefer a different fragrance we can make up a 250g pot especially for you!!!!
